Daniel reads each inquiry himself and replies in writing. If the project is outside our scope or our calendar, he will say so plainly and, where possible, suggest a studio that may be a better fit.
Begin a Project
Write to us about the place you have in mind. There is no intake form to clear and no sales team behind the reply — only a small studio in Brooklyn, considering whether the work is a fit.

The fields below are the same ones we ask of every prospective client. They help us understand the scope, the site, and the timeline before our first conversation — and they keep your first note from feeling like a form.

Qualified inquiries are invited to a paid ninety-minute consultation in the Brooklyn studio or by video. The fee is credited toward any subsequent commission. We use the hour to listen, to walk the brief, and to be candid about what the work will cost in time and money.
03
If both sides agree to continue, we issue a one-page engagement letter describing scope, fee structure, and a tentative schedule. Contracts are signed; we begin. The average residential commission runs twenty-eight months from this point to handover.
04
We will not add you to a mailing list. We will not share your details with contractors, vendors, or press. Of the forty-seven residences we have completed since 2007, thirty-eight returned for a second engagement — that record is built on discretion.
